Kanner & Pintaluga, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Legal Recruiter to join our team in Boca Raton, FL.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Legal Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top legal talent to meet the firm’s staffing needs. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing recruitment strategies, building strong relationships with candidates, and ensuring a seamless hiring process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top legal talent.
- Source, screen, and interview attorney candidates for various practice areas.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with law schools, professional organizations, and legal networks.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and partners to determine hiring needs and candidate qualifications.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified attorney candidates.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and legal industry connections.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate feedback collection, and manage candidate communications.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical hiring practices.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize hiring strategies.
- Represent the firm at job fairs, networking events, and conferences to enhance employer branding.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; and background in legal recruitment preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of attorney recruiting experience in a law firm or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of the legal industry, including attorney qualifications and career paths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or Indeed Smart Sourcing and other sourcing tools is a plus.
