What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Intern position at The Leading Hotels of the World?
We are looking for an energetic highly motivated intern who is looking to learn more about what It takes a hotel to be defined as true luxury. This intern will report to the Senior Manager of Quality and will be critical in determining how our brand of boutique independent hotels differ from Quality standards when compared to other big players in the market. This person will get the unique opportunity to liaise with the our 400 member hotels and further support the Quality team in honing their existing data infrastructure. You will be a critical driver in determining the true Quality potential of the LHW brand.
This is a part time internship based in our New York office with a flexible, hybrid model. Interns are expected to work 15 hours per week and will be compensated $15/hour.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
- Quality Standards Max Achievable: liaising with our member hotels to determine their maximum achievable score they can attain with our third party quality auditing company.
- Quality Reporting: Assist the quality team in refining the quality reporting procedures and designing new quality metrics that will fit our brand.
- Ad Hoc Support: Assisting the Quality team and the Member Success team with ad-hoc quality related matters.
You Are
- Seeking a college degree with a concentration in hospitality, business, and/or communications.
- Excellent communication skills: Should be able to talk confidently with GM’s and leaders of our member hotels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Should be highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Tableau: A moderate understanding of how to use Tableau is a plus
- High-energy, results-oriented individual who can work independently and on a team
- A critical and strategic thinker
- Eager to learn and grow
- Detailed oriented and proud of the work you deliver
