The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is a bureau within the U.S. Department of the Treasury dedicated to preventing financial crimes, such as money laundering and fraud. FinCEN collects and analyzes financial data to assist law enforcement and government agencies in tracking illegal money movements and safeguarding national security. Additionally, it enforces financial regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020 (AML Act). To support its mission, FinCEN's Technology Division (TD) requires IT program and operational support to effectively manage its systems, projects, and compliance with federal regulations.

The Business Analyst shall have expertise in IT project management within the federal government, as well as knowledge of the OMB Circular A-11 and experience in Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes. The Business Analyst shall possess the ability to develop executive-level materials. This key role shall facilitate FinCEN's operational environment through effective resource and task management. FinCEN expects any resources on this Call to be technically sound and capable of executing assigned tasks and roles.

  • Responsibilities :

The Business Analyst shall be hands-on, technically capable, and who shall be responsible for coordinating work across the Technology Division. The Business Analyst will ensure that intellectual capital related to program / project management and all CPIC reporting is retained in a centralized work storage area that is organized and easily retrievable by others across the division. The individual shall effectively coordinate the work of team resources with other teams operating within the FinCEN environment.

Requirements

  • Security Requirement :
  • All Contractor personnel supporting this contract must possess a minimum of a final Secret personnel security clearance. Interim clearances of any type will not be accepted.

  • Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational and cost / schedule / performance support in a Federal Government IT environment.
  • Skills :
  • Strong understanding of federal IT project management practices. - Proficient in developing executive-level materials and reports. - Excellent resource and task management skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a federal environment.
  • Salary Description

    80,000 - 110,000
