What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabin Leader position at The League for People with Disabilities?
The Cabin Leader works under the supervision of the assigned Unit Coordinator. The Cabin Leader works closely with an interdisciplinary team of cabin staff to support the various needs of the assigned campers within the cabin.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 18
Ability to lift participants up to 50 lbs. in accordance with established safe lifting procedures.
Education and/or experience:
Past camp or recreational experience preferred.
Past experience working with people with disabilities required.
Past leadership experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
