Responsibilities

- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
- Provide individualized attention to students to support their learning and development.
- Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Conduct regular assessments of student development and communicate progress to parents.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Stay informed about current best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with infants or young children in a classroom or childcare setting.
- Ability to educate and engage students through creative lesson planning.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency protocols for young children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to support positive child interactions.
- Experience as a nanny or caregiver is a plus but not required.
