We are currently seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Preschool Center Director.

- Have experience in center leadership / management, curriculum experience (highly preferred) or Administrative experience
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications for Preschool Management
Program Coordination : Manage multiple programs while ensuring compliance
with state and federal regulations.
Staff Leadership : Train and supervise teachers and staff to implement high quality educational and care practices.
Budget Management : Oversee funding from various sources (e.g., QRIS grants,
food programs) and ensure proper allocation.
Family Engagement : Build strong relationships with families to support
childrens development and provide resources for parents.
Community Partnerships : Collaborate with organizations like Urban League
and Child Care Aware to strengthen support networks.
Data and Reporting : Track program outcomes, prepare reports for
stakeholders, and use data to drive improvement.
Preparation for the Role
Familiarize yourself with Nevada-specific programs (e.g., NV! Ready and QRIS).
Study grant compliance, especially for food programs like Food 4 Kids.
Understand the metrics used to evaluate QRIS and how to improve your
centers rating.
Be prepared to lead a diverse team and maintain strong relationships with
community partners.
Resource Management
Evaluate and select educational materials and resources that support the curriculum goals.
Manage the allocation and usage of teaching resources and materials to optimize educational outcomes.
Coordinate with external vendors and experts for supplemental educational programs and materials.
Assessment and Evaluation
Implement TLE assessment frameworks to monitor student progress and curriculum effectiveness.
Collaborate with teachers to analyze assessment data and make adjustments to the instructional strategies and curriculum as needed.
Prepare and present reports on curriculum outcomes and student progress to school management and parents.
Parent and Community Engagement
Communicate effectively with parents about curriculum content and their childs progress.
Organize and participate in parent workshops, informational sessions, and community events to enhance the school's community involvement.
Act as a liaison between the school and local educational committees or boards.
Compliance and Accreditation
Ensure the curriculum and teaching practices comply with all regulatory, accreditation and TLE requirements.
Maintain documentation and records related to curriculum development and implementation for review by accreditation and TLE bodies.
