The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for ensuring: the health and safety of the children in their care, the implementation of proprietary curriculum, a clean, friendly, and welcoming classroom environment, and effective communication with the children’s parents.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children
- Must speak English proficiently to communicate with children, staff, management and parents
- Must be able to read and write English proficiently to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of children’s growth and development
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations and policies
- Previous experience as a preschool teacher is preferable
- Infant CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain
