Location : Onsite in Deerfield Beach, FL
Salary Range : $80-85k
The Grants Manager is responsible for pursuing government funding opportunities, supporting funding application and development, maintaining relationships with funding entities, and liaising between state agencies, HQ, and field leaders.
The Grants Manager will increase revenue growth for the TLE business and our childcare centers by actively identifying and securing additional revenue opportunities through government funding.
Essential Functions
Identify and assess new one-time funding opportunities through state, federal, and local governments.
Identify and assess recurring government funding opportunities, including USDA, military childcare, state-funded prekindergarten, quality rating and improvement funds, and childcare subsidies.
Explore capital funding options for childcare centers in development and share with appropriate HQ teams as needed.
Interface with third-party funding representatives and other state agency audiences.
Develop systems to support centers through the grant development and life cycle management process.
Maintain a grants management infrastructure, including databases and procedures.
Establish and maintain a system for reporting government fundings impact on the company and make recommendations to maximize funding opportunities.
Provide expert assistance as a mentor or coach to franchisees and field leaders.
Manage the funding process for company-owned locations from opportunity assessment to application to grant reporting and finalization.
Identify applicable funding sources outside the public sector and share as needed. Work with internal business partners to ensure on-time delivery of funded deliverables and reporting.
Identify and share workforce development funding opportunities to support TLEs commitment to its team and culture.
Support other Government Relations initiatives as needed.
Experience
Bachelors degree or higher required.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
Experience writing grant proposals, narratives, and budgeting, preferably in the education sector.
Knowledge of federal and state grant administration processes.
Excellent research, writing, time management, and communication skills
Knowledge of the Early Childhood Education industry a plus.
Experience with Monday.com or other project management software
