Job Description
The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Caregiver and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers, while also coordinating the logistics of our after-school transportation services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the safe and efficient transportation of children from local elementary schools to our center using our after-school van.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the unique needs and abilities of each child, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish a cohesive and supportive learning environment that fosters socialization, creativity, and intellectual growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress, daily activities, and any areas requiring special attention.
- Monitor and report any changes in children's behavior, physical condition, or emotional well-being, taking necessary actions to address these concerns.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire), doctor's physical/approval for providing transportation (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Licensing: All state licensing requirements for the role.
