- State Compliance : Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance levels, immunizations, employment physicals, and health and safety training.
- Caregiving Skills :
- Meet children's everyday needs, such as diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Encourage good social skills and strong communication.
- Keep children active and engaged in developmentally appropriate activities.
- Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure consistently.
- Physical Resilience :
- Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Reach, stretch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Use a stool or ladder to reach higher places when necessary.
- Ability to supervise children effectively by sight and sound.
- Willingness to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from 20F with wind chill to 95F.
- Maintain high levels of mental and physical alertness to perform essential job functions.
