We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Plan and conduct daily lessons that incorporate various subjects including physical education, art, and literacy.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience through shared resources and ideas.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, 45hrs DCF or related field preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and behavior management.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and standards in early childhood education.
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote physical education and overall child development.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.
