Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Infant Teacher to join our LFA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 6wks to 5 years. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, managing the classroom, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and respected.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
- Maintain classroom management to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Provide care for infants when necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and effective caregiving practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are essential traits for success in this role.
- Experience in infant care is a plus but not mandatory.
