Teacher VPK Childcare

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children, fostering their development through structured activities and play.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes physical, emotional, and social development.
• Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development.
• Facilitate activities that promote cognitive skills, including problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care, adhering to child welfare standards.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the learning experience through teamwork and shared resources.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

• Prior experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education is essential.
• Familiarity with child welfare regulations and best practices in child care.
• Experience in physical education or early intervention strategies is a plus.
• Skills in tutoring or providing toddler care will be beneficial for this role.
• A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.

Pay: $16.75 - $19.75 per hour
