What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician/Laborer position at The Learning Tree, Inc. of Alabama?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: shall include but is not limited to the following:
- Maintenance of building and grounds of school facilities to meet all required standards
- Basic construction tasks involving carpentry, dry wall, and plumbing skills
- Repair of damaged areas of school and residential facilities
- Proper care and storage of tools and equipment
- Adherence to prescribed safety standards
- Other duties deemed necessary by the LMT to ensure quality shelter and comfort for the students
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Skills in basic construction and maintenance procedures. Must have a good driving record.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
