What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate One's Teacher position at The Learning Tree?
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and experienced One's Teacher (12-18months) to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their futures. Duties:
-Ensure high quality care for all children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured learning.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to a positive learning environment
-Demonstrates interactions with children that are responsive, respectful, and supportive of their play interests.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.
-Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual children
9 credits in ECE with 3 credits in Child growth & Development or
3 credits in an education course with 1500 hours of work experience and a plan to continue your ECE credits or successful completion of a 2-year vocational course or
Have 18 ECE credits or a CDA Certificate is also accepted for Lead Teacher qualifications.
