NOW HIRING GENERAL LABORERS IN SUFFOLK FOR ALL SHIFTS!

Position Summary of a General Laborer :

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for manually and mechanically moving materials throughout the production facility. This includes transporting raw materials, assisting with production line activities, and ensuring efficient workflow within the production area. You will be operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for this role.

Details of the position as a General Laborer :

Pay Rate : $16 / hr
40 hours a week always available
Weekly pay
Rotating Shifts Available (must have weekend availability) :

7am-7pm

7pm-7am

Job Duties :

Transport raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products within the production area.

Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure transport and proper placement of materials.

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations.

Assist in organizing and maintaining workspaces to support production efficiency.

Perform quality checks on materials and report any discrepancies.

Work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow.

Maintain documentation and recordkeeping related to inventory movement.

Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.

Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

Qualifications & Requirements :

High school diploma or GED required.

Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.

Forklift operation experience required; certification is a plus.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 lbs regularly.

Basic computer and math skills required.

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.

Physical Demands :

Must be willing and able to frequently lift up to 70 lbs.

Must be willing and able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Frequent bending, standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.
