Overview

- Pay Rate:$10 per hour plus tips
- Schedule:Part-time, on-call with various hours including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on events schedule
- Reports to:Senior Events Manager or Food & Beverage Manager, depending on event

- Setup& Preparation: Assist in setting up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings
- Customer Service: Greet guests professionally and courteously upon arrival;Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and with a positive attitude
- Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, following established service standards
- Clean-Up & Breakdown: Clear tables of dishes, glassware, and utensils as guests finish each course;Perform post-event cleanup, including the removal of linens and table settings
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including food handling procedures and alcohol service laws. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other banquet servers and team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient service
- Additional responsibilities as needed
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Experience:Previous experience as a server or in a banquet/event setting is preferred, but not required
- Competencies: Knowledge of basic food and beverage service techniques and etiquette;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ableto work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; Enjoy maintaining a clean and organized work environment; Havea passion for serving our community
- Physical/Other Requirements:Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift trays for extended periods
