This is a Part Time Position. 20-30 hours per week. Hours may vary.
The Human Resource Associate provides administrative support for VP of Human Resources and assist employees, managers and other HR team members in the areas of benefits, recruitment, company website, electronic publications and applications such as social media, Facebook, etc., coordinate and publish company newsletter, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction. Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
Prepare and maintain HR metrics and charts which include new-hire and turnover metrics and reporting.
Maintain AAP compliant records to identify and recruit applicants for particular job profiles. Scan and review multiple resumes and analyze the knowledge, skills and experience of candidates.
Manage, develop and optimize social media programs.
Provide maintenance of all websites and other publications and applications.
Coordinate, write and publish company newsletter. Obtain items/articles from department heads for publication, verify facts and clarify information.
Identify administrative needs and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
Applies laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the organization.

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
