Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate planning and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of wills, trusts, and probate matters. This position offers flexible scheduling, including remote work options, to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries related to estate planning matters
- Communicate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to gather necessary information
- Manage document organization, filing, and case tracking
- Assist with probate and trust administration as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal estate planning regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal (preferred)
- Proficiency in estate planning software (LEAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible environment
- Experience in probate and trust administration is a plus
