What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Instructor position at The Lifelong Learning Center?
Art/Glass Fusing Instructor
Do you have an artistic talent or would like to teach art classes? The Lifelong Learning Center is seeking proposals to teach a variety of classes starting in September 2025. Class times and dates are flexible depending on your schedule but are usually evenings, late afternoons or Saturdays. $32 per instructional hour. Most classes meet for 2-3 hours once per week for 6-8 weeks. Some shorter topic classes are only one or two sessions, you decide that based on the content you are teaching. Many instructors teach more than one class.
The Lifelong Learning Center provides the materials and equipment for the students and instructors. Our current classes can be found at www.missoulaclasses.com. We are seeking Glass Fusing, Calligraphy, Stained Glass, Floral Arranging, Matting and Framing, Abstract Painting, Mixed Media, Large Canvas and also cooking, sewing, knitting, croquet and craft instructors. Feel free to propose a different class than what is on the list. Teaching certification is not required.
We are currently scheduling for our September-December Sessions. If you are interested please submit:

- Title,
- one paragraph description,
- how many sessions and an outline of what you would cover each class
- list of materials that would be needed.
