Professional Paralegal needed to perform the following duties for legal firm :
- Researching for legal cases.
- Assist attorneys in preparing and executing legal documents.
- Creating reports for attorneys based on case specifications.
- Conducting interviews for with clients with potential and existing clients.
- Monitoring changes to guidelines and regulations and submitting updates to attorneys.
- Contacting courts to submit (electronically through the e-file system and / or by U. S. postal service) documents to file.
- Opening and organizing legal files.
- Opening real estate closing files.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and clients and to provide information with courtesy, diplomacy and tact.
- Must be proficient in using legal database software to include excel.
- Ability to exercise good judment and discretion.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have ability to multitask, track and monitor deadlines for three attorneys.
