Position Summary:
The Linder Academy is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Classroom Substitutes to support our students and teachers. Classroom Substitutes will step in as needed to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment when teachers are absent. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and eager to work in a dynamic and supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans provided by the teacher and ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a respectful, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Provide support to students, answering questions and assisting with assignments.
- Adapt to different grade levels and subject areas as needed.
- Communicate effectively with school leadership regarding student progress and any challenges encountered.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment in an education-related program preferred).
