Job Title : Server
Reports To : Restaurant Manager
Pay : Dependent on experience; starting pay is $. / hr plus tips
Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, and evenings

Scope of Work :
A Server provides for the guest’s food and beverage needs in a friendly and professional manner consistent with the organization’s standards.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Follow and comply with all Food & Beverage rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
Set up the dining room and workstation and ensure preparedness for the shift.
Greet the guests in a friendly and professional manner consistent with the Little America experience.
Solicit the guest’s food and beverage order, making suggestions and explaining choices as necessary.
Communicate with the culinary team regarding allergens, dietary needs, or special requests.
Properly submit orders through the point-of-sale system.
Deliver prepared food and beverages to the table, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Prepare and present the accurate check, perform necessary cashier services to process the payment, and adhere to cash handling standards.
Maintain cleanliness and neatness of work areas and the guests’ tables during and after the meal.
Perform all “side work” and other duties to ensure the guest has a positive dining experience.
Qualifications :
Preferred two years of serving experience in a similar resort setting.
Previous cash handling experience is required.
Must be TIPs certified for alcohol service or obtain a TIPs certification within days (about and a half weeks) of hire.
Developed knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails with experience selling and presenting wines.
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to deal with people in a team-based, service-oriented environment and to perform duties in a manner that is strictly consistent with governmental and / or company standards.
Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
Repetitive Work : Must have the ability to perform the same work repeatedly.
