Summary
We are seeking a passionate Tutor to join our team at The Living Well Mission. In this role, you will provide personalized educational support to students of various ages, helping them achieve their academic goals and enhancing their learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assess individual student needs and tailor tutoring sessions accordingly.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience.
- Support students in various subjects.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in middle school subject areas
- Strong understanding of lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Familiarity with learning technologies to facilitate effective teaching.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
- Experience working with students of various ages is preferred.
- Knowledge of adult education principles is a plus.
