Summary
As a School Program Staff member at The Living Well Mission, you will play an essential role in facilitating educational programs that empower students. This position is vital in promoting student success and aligning with our mission to enrich the educational landscape.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programs for students.
- Provide support and guidance to students in their academic pursuits.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to enhance program effectiveness.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.
- Organize workshops and activities that promote student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation and program outcomes.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student involvement.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Executive Director and After School Supervisor to create, organize, and implement the after-school program
- Provide assistance in all areas during program time, demonstrating effective organizational, time management, and people skills
- Develop positive relationships with the community to develop a multi facet afterschool program
- Consistent engagement with all staff and students while providing a positive and upbeat attitude in a challenging environment
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and staff.
- Passion for educating and supporting student development.
- Associates Degree or lived experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Classroom management skills are necessary
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and collaborative personality
- Displays elevated levels of empathy and understanding for students, parents, and community partners
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive)
