Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining and catering environments. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food management practices, and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department for special dietary needs or restrictions when necessary.
  • Plan and execute catering events or banquets, ensuring all aspects of food service are executed flawlessly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or fine dining setting is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Experience in catering or banquet services is highly desirable.
  • Creativity in menu planning and presentation with an eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Pay: $16.97 - $18.66 per hour
