Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team at The Lodge at Mills River. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing daily routine nursing care and services, contributing to the success of our organization through setting the gold standard for rehabilitative care. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing daily routine nursing care and services in accordance with the residents’ assessment and care plan such as:
- Assisting with activity of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report concerns to nurse
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift
- Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain current certification, such as scheduled orientation programs and activities, facility in-service training programs, etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Previous experience in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting preferred, but not required
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to patient needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medication Aide Certification for long-term/skilled nursing care
