Responsibilities: Setup portable bars with product and transport to designated work area. Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. Maintain stock/supplies and cleanliness of work area and equipment. Transport portable bars to storage areas and put away products according to hotel specifications. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders and carry out the instructions given on the Banquet Event Orders. Work well with co-workers as part of a team.
Requirements:
- 21 years old to serve alcohol
- Intimate knowledge of - and experience with - various spirits, classic cocktails, beer, & wine
- TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Certification is a plus
- Certification in alcohol awareness program
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service
- Certification of C.P.R.
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
