About the Role: Seeking a dynamic and seasoned Conference Services Manager to join our AWESOME TEAM! In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and refining the details of all assigned meetings and conventions; to coordinate the activities of all departments involved to ensure compliance with set specifications; to maximize customer satisfaction and hotel profitability in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures satisfactory liaison between guests and supporting hotel departments from initial long lead of contact through conclusion of billing review.
- Supervises service and coordinates all arrangements as reflected in the convention services critique while the group is in the hotel.
- Establishes and maintains excellent working relationship and communication with all support departments regarding convention-related activities.
- Ensures that all convention resumes, and convention-related paperwork and other pertinent information is distributed to the necessary departments in a timely manner, at least 14 days prior to the arrival.
- Monitors room blocks in conjunction with Sales Managers and Reservation Manager.
- Hold both pre-con and post-con meetings with all major groups.
- Determines golf, tennis, and all other recreational requirements.
- . Determines outside vendor service needs, i.e., entertainment, floral displays, photography, etc.
- Establishes master account requirements and special billing procedures for each group following the established credit clearance policies.
- Performs all duties in a timely efficient manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred or the equivalent in apprenticeship/experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. On feet at various times throughout the shift, longest single duration can be up to 8 hours. Climbing stairs sometimes 9 - 10 times a day.
