Join Our Team as a Part-Time Dishwasher at Stunning Finger Lakes Wedding Venue!
The Allyn Lodge is a premier wedding and events venue in the heart of the Finger Lakes, just outside the charming village of Skaneateles, New York. The largest freestanding timber structure in the state, it features floor-to-ceiling windows and a deck with stunning views of a private pond and the surrounding landscape.
Allyn Lodge is currently hiring for Part Time Dishwashers
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, and other kitchen equipment.
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedure. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- Removes trash and places it in designed containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized.
- Ensure that kitchen equipment is stored properly.
- Help with general cleaning duties as required, sweep and mops Kitchen floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Helps load and unload supplies and products.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in washing dishes and pots is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
We are currently hiring for Part time, Friday and Saturday and hours may vary.
