Food Services Director - FSD

We seek an experienced Food Services Director to provide leadership and oversee all aspects of our food services department. The Food Services Director organizes, plans, directs, controls, and supervises functions and personnel within the dietary department, which provides food and nutrition services. The Food Services Director ensures quality food service and nutritional care.
Summary of Responsibilities of the Food Services Director - FSD
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department.
- Ensure quality nutritional services are provided daily
- Ensure the dietary department is maintained clean, safe, and sanitary.
- Manage the requisitions and inspection of food, supplies, and equipment and maintain stock levels.
- Ensure quality standards are met while achieving the department's budgetary, recruiting, training, and supervising.
Qualifications for Food Services Director – FSD
- Food Service supervisor experience is required; at least three years experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Must hold or acquire Certifications as a Dietary Manager (CDM); an Associate degree in Food Service Management or Nutrition (DT or DTR); or a 4-year degree in Nutrition or a similar area.
- Must be able to relate professionally and positively to our residents, families, and staff and to work cooperatively with others
