SUMMARY:
The Transportation Supervisor shall establish, operate, perform, and manage the installation transportation support services within the area of operations and within other areas, when required in accordance with all applicable Army or DoD Transportation regulations and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise personnel during all hours as necessary to accommodate unscheduled transportation requirements
- Provide reports and statistical data for transportation services in accordance with CDRL ITD-01 Transportation Statistical Data Report.
- Responsible for the operations of the multi-service Personal Property Processing Office
- Supervises the performance of all phases of passenger and port call movements within CONUS and OCONUS for all personnel authorized for passenger travel.
- Supervises the Fleet Management Operations Supervises freight services to include the operation of a Central Receiving and Shipping Point and all administrative and managerial responsibilities associated with the process of outbound freight shipments, unit moves, and shipping of hazardous and sensitive materials.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforces safety rules and regulations; ensures proper reporting in event of any vehicle accident
- Establishes and maintains liaison with on-site customer agencies and representatives; consults regularly to evaluate and ensure customer satisfaction with performance. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management of a similar or multifunction operation
- One year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships
- Excellent leadership, judgement, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Excellent business writing skills and oral communications skills.
- Delegation skills to task and hold subordinates accountable for task accomplishment.
- Organization skills to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with little or no supervision.
- Intuitive, interpretive, and analytical comprehension to rapidly identify and resolve problems.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce company and customer safety requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must have the ability to work indoors or outdoors in bad weather. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop down and lift and carry excess of 40 pounds on a regular basis. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate hand tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS:
This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site.
Job is performed indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to inclement/extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location. Job will require working flexible hours, sometimes under short notice, to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and holidays.
