CLINICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT :
Position : Speech-language Pathologist - PRN.
Reports to : VP of Clinical Services.
Employment Term : PRN Employment.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION :
Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
Active State license required in good standing.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Knowledge of Speech Therapy theory, procedures, practices, and equipment.
Good communication skills. A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving.
Thorough knowledge of possible hazards / necessary precautions / remedial measures in the treatment and care of clients.
Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Fully adhere to the Loveland Center's Code of Ethics and Core Values.
Perform evaluations to identify therapy needs and develop specific treatment programs based on those needs.
Communicate the speech therapy POC with clients, their families, and other clinicians.
Practices efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment.
Demonstrates an awareness of legal issues, patient rights, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read / comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions.
