The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, in partnership with Stanford Medicine and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, unlocks philanthropy to transform health for children and families in Northern California - and around the world. Through fundraising and grantmaking, the Foundation drives scientific research, innovation, and policy change that will improve care, advance cures, and reform healthcare systems for this and future generations.
MAIN FOCUS : Supporting the work of the Vice President, Fundraising Strategy and Campaigns and the Strategic Philanthropy & Partnerships team.
LOCATION : Palo Alto, CA (hybrid); the successful candidate will be based in the Bay Area.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Strategic Philanthropy & Partnerships (SPP) team is a revenue and field team-focused nexus team within the Foundation. The team's core functions include :
- Driving fundraising strategy as well as case and resources development for Campaign initiatives and other select fundraising priority areas;
- Leading bespoke gift strategy development and gift opportunities identification, vetting, and implementation;
- Facilitating strategic partnership alignment with key internal and external stakeholders; and
- Creating and sustaining nimble and efficient systems and processes that support priority fundraising, gift, and communication strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO...
The Senior Development Associate serves as a key support for the administrative needs of the Vice President, Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns (approximately 50% of the time) as well as select administrative needs within the Strategic Philanthropy & Partnerships team. This person is a highly organized, detail-oriented, strategic team player who can exercise strong judgment, take initiative, and successfully work on concurrent tasks at a fast pace. This person is a skilled communicator, and both comfortable with and excited about working with various working styles, role groups and job functions. They are proactive and innovative in developing and improving systems, routines and approaches to support the work of the VP and the team overall.
This position reports to the Vice President, Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns.
The compensation range for this position is $36.06 to $39.42 per hour.
YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR...
