What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Ambassador - HHR Attendant position at The Lucky Moose Casino & Tavern?
JOB SUMMARY:
Greets customers and welcomes them to the games. Issues Casino Gaming Machine payouts as required and obtains customer's signature on receipts in accordance with regulations. Works in and monitors the assigned area on the casino floor where the machines are located in accordance with applicable malfunction and/or repair protocols. Performs all duties in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Promotes excellent customer relations by acknowledging, greeting and conversing with customers as they approach the gaming area and/or are actively playing the games.
- Enrolls customers in our players club, The Golden Antlers Club, and assists with balance and other membership related inquiries.
- As a greeter, tracks multiple players level and duration of play and makes introductions and solicits customer responses.
- Ensures any Casino Gaming Machine payout is conducted in an accurate/efficient manner and is verified by the reporting senior or designee.
- Protects the integrity of Casino Gaming Machines through observation and following appropriate procedures.
- Must be knowledgeable of and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
- Anticipates player’s needs and calls for food and/or beverage service when needed.
- Requests assistance from reporting senior as may be required to resolve player disputes or support service issues.
- Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned gaming related areas.
- Sets up and organizes workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials, reports shortages to supervisor.
- Reads, verifies and signs appropriate documents when necessary.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Performs all assigned work procedures and expedites workflow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follows written and oral instructions.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required with a minimum of one year of experience in retail customer service.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of applicable regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
- Maintains effective working knowledge of gaming information management support systems.
- Able to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitor processes; concentrate on routine work details and organize and maintain a system of records.
- Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; read and interpret complex information; talk with customers or employees; listen well.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of service delivery to do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deal with service failures and prioritize customer needs.
- Able to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines and inspects materials for flaws.
- Able to act in accordance with established guidelines; follow standard procedures in crisis situations; communicate and enforce organizational policies and procedures; recognize and constructively conform to written rules or practices.

- Able to operate various types of gaming equipment and other departmental related systems.
