We're The Ludlow Cleaning Company — a commercial cleaning company that treats its team members with as much care as its clients. We're growing, and we're looking for a cleaning pro who can help us keep standards high, mentor new team members, and oversee quality across our janitorial and move-out clean accounts.
About the Role:
This isn’t your average cleaning job. It’s a leadership role with hands-on responsibilities and a clear path for growth as our company expands.
You’ll start with 10–12 hours per week at $25/hour, with more hours expected as we grow. We're looking for someone who can balance quality assurance, inventory management, crew supervision, cleaning and training—all while getting their hands dirty (literally) when needed.
Who We're Looking For:
- Must have professional cleaning experience — both janitorial and residential/move-out
- This is not a fit for people who are just “neat freaks,” clean their own home, or work as home caregivers
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Can lift up to 30 lbs, go up and down stairs, and stay on your feet for long stretches
- Must be available at least 2 weekdays Saturdays OR Sundays
- Friendly, positive, punctual, and detail-obsessed
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Prep & Inventory Management
- Prep supplies for cleanings
- Load towels, tools, and equipment into vehicle
- Keep track of inventory and supplies
2. Quality Assurance (QA) Checks
- Visit active accounts to ensure consistent, high-quality work
- Refill supplies in onsite janitor’s closets
- Report issues and return dirty towels to home base
3. Crew Supervision & Training
- Oversee cleaning crews on-site as needed
- Train new employees during their working interviews
- Provide feedback and coaching
- Report employee concerns to owners/HR
4. New Hire Onboarding
- Conduct brief 15-minute intro calls with new hires
- Explain policies and set expectations
5. Site Visits – Move-Out Cleans
- Walk through properties ahead of move-out cleans
- Assess what’s needed and report back with scope
