The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies, equipment, mechanical and other components, as well as production processes for deployment.
This position is perfect for someone looking for the freedom to be creative—TLM prides itself on being fast, nimble, and open to new ideas. We are most interested in individuals who have designed, built, tested, and iterated on production lines in high-volume production environments. We are more interested in candidates with strong production line design/set-up experience than forest products industry exposure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5 years' experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- 3 years’ experience in high-rate manufacturing environments.
- Experience with process modeling and simulation is highly desirable.
- Must have experience with process control, quality, and safety.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work on a team under pressure under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Pay range starting at $100,000
