Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Salary: $25-$28 hourly

EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:
The Field Technician is primarily responsible for the general maintenance and repair of common area components of the district including but not limited to, landscaping, irrigation, facility repairs, site inspections.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance and repairs of various facilities, landscaping, and public infrastructure elements.
- Perform minor irrigation repairs and adjustments.
- Perform grounds maintenance including blowing, pressure washing, mowing, and trimming. Reset cobble and landscaping elements. Weed control.
- Patrol common areas, pool, and parking lots, perform litter and debris control, note safety & maintenance issues.
- Paint split rail fencing and perform graffiti remediation as directed by supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, district property and equipment, including minor electrical repairs, plumbing, painting, carpentry.
- Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience in property maintenance/landscaping/irrigation – minimum 2 years
- General computer knowledge; Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiency a plus
- Conflict resolution skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues
- Superior multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization
- Must be a team player
- Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities
- Willing to learn company process and procedures, and learn/use proprietary software
- Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
- Professional and respectful demeanor with all internal and external customers at all times
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy
- Have reliable transportation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
- Use standard maintenance equipment, including: vehicles, power equipment, hand tools, etc.
- Relocate up to (50) pounds
- Be stationary or in motion for periods of time
- Travel to and from offsite locations

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs, including being available for emergency needs. Occasional weekend or on-call duties may arise.
