Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Lead Design Engineer to assist with our projects in Cranberry, PA!
Key Responsibilities
The Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for technical accuracy of project design details and plans, including :
- Assigning projects to design staff
- Monitoring and meeting project scope, schedules and budgets
- Mentoring / assisting design staff to complete projects
- Reviewing plans, reports and design calculations prepared by staff
- Preparing submittals to review agencies (Municipalities, PADEP, Conservation Districts, Utility Companies, etc.)
- Preparing bidding documents / specifications
- Assisting the Project Manager with Construction Administration & Project Closeout
- Communicating with Project Managers, Senior staff and Management
- Occasional attendance at meetings, including job sites, regulatory agencies, and public municipal meetings.
