Dance Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves creating creativity, and self-expression through dance. The Dance Instructor will foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore their artistic abilities while developing essential skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach various dance styles, ensuring that each class is engaging and exciting.
• Create a supportive atmosphere that promotes student participation and confidence.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with staff too teach musical theater to youth.
• Organize recitals or performances to showcase students' progress and achievements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescences.
• Experience with sound and audio technologies.
• Bachelors Degree in Dance is required.
• Strong skills in chorography with the ability to implement dynamic and engaging curriculum tailored to different age groups.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively support students' physical, emotional, and social growth.
• Experience in classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with tutoring methods can enhance individualized instruction for students needing additional support.
• A passion for dance and the ability to inspire others through movement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.57 - $31.64 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
