GENERAL FULFILLMENT WORKER
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
While working under the direction of the Fulfillment Supervisor or person in charge, the General Worker-Fulfillment has overall responsibility for fulfilling orders and/or packaging orders as well as performing all tasks and elements of work in the operation functions of the Fulfillment Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.
- Follows and complies with all safety, work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Uses hand-held scanner to cue up order, Identifies and locates items required per order, selects items per order and places items into tote.
- Inspects packaging for damage.
- Lifts totes and/or boxes onto conveyor for final packaging and labeling. Fills orders for will calls and assists in loading upon customer pick-up.
- Completed and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents etc.
- Prepares items for shipment and performs final quality check and packs into the appropriate shipping container, using proper taping procedures.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Determines method of shipment, posts, weighs, determines shipping charges and affixes proper shipping label.
- Loads and unloads truck using pallets, skids, carts, and/or forklift.
- Returns unused material to warehouse updating required inventory information into hand-held scanner and/or computerized warehouse management system.
- Performs cycle counts in accordance with prescribed procedures.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Requires a high school diploma and/or equivalent as well as
- One to two years of related experience; or
- A combination of education and experience.
