The Marriage School (TMS) is a dynamic, faith-based community that supports each husband and wife in their marriage covenant through life-changing programs. Founded in 2014 as a 501(c)3 non-profit, TMS aims to expand its impact in the greater Cincinnati region and beyond. We are seeking faith-based individuals with a passion for ministry and experience in the marketplace. These positions come with the opportunity to strengthen marriages and keep families together.
Position: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: None
Status: Part-time, 20-25 hours weekly
Hours: Monday through Friday, available 10a-3p
Location: Remote (with several weekly in-person team meetings and rare evening/weekend events)
Summary:
Provide administrative assistance to The Marriage School and its leadership team
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to The Marriage School Executive Director and staff
- Manage TMS contact list platform; prepare and send emails to various contacts and participants
- Record and track monthly expenses
- Assist with planning quarterly Board meetings
- Prepare annual calendars; assist with annual fundraising campaigns and special projects
- Manage The Marriage School website
- Manage volunteer database, assist with quarterly scheduling
- The Third Option Meeting Support: Prepare, ship and track volunteer materials; record and track weekly class attendance; volunteer staff communications; update new semester information
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office, Google and Planning Center platforms
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms
- Experience with website management
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal oversight; Detail-oriented and efficient
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Employees of TMS will have knowledge of the Christian faith, a willingness to work for a Christian, faith-based organization and adhere to the policies of TMS. Employees will not publicly oppose the teachings of the Christian faith nor publicly advocate for any position in conflict with Christian teaching. This requirement includes any public speech, demonstration, or writing including the use of social media or other digital technologies.
