The Martino Group in Denton, TX is seeking a full-time Porter/Janitorial person to play a vital role in the overall Class-A appeal of our properties that keeps our owners happy and retains tenants. The typical schedule is 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday - Friday. Are you looking for a position where your hard work will be valued? If so, read on!
A Day in The Life of a Porter/Janitorial
As a Porter/Janitorial, you provide a pleasant living environment for residents by removing litter, debris, and pet droppings from the grounds and generally maintain high standards of cleanliness of grounds and dumpsters, walkways, streets, driveways, parking lots, entrances, and recreational areas. You also ensure pet stations are emptied and bags refilled. You clean and maintain the pool and pool deck, as needed. You assist with makeready cleans, touch up painting and general maintenance duties, as needed. You take pride in meeting the TMG Service Standards. You will provide exceptional service while maintaining grounds, breezeways, and common areas. You will complete make readies and help with painting, as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hours are generally Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Travel:
This position has no travel requirements.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in janitorial, maintenance, or general labor roles.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Painting experience
- Customer Service
- Physical capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Must have a satisfactory background check and drug screen
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
- Must have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Work with minimal supervision
- Deadline and detailed oriented
- Ability to deal well with people
- Must have reliable transportation that can haul large objects.

- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping crouching, squatting, crawling, climbing, and going up and down stairs all day.
