Position(s) : Program Evaluator
Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability (OPEGA)
Salary : $75,000 negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Principal Duties : We are recruiting for program evaluators to conduct performance evaluations of units and activities of state government. Candidates with program evaluation experience may be considered for a more senior position.
Duties will vary but will involve designing and implementing program evaluation plans; collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data; and writing and presenting information to legislators, committees, task forces, and others in formal and informal settings. The best candidates will be strong writers who are curious and analytical.
Qualifications :
- Preferred : A law degree or master’s degree, and a demonstrated interest in government, law, finance, economics, and / or program evaluation.
Also considered : A bachelor’s degree, plus at least two years of experience in public sector program evaluation, or extraordinary experience with skills relevant to program evaluation (for example, investigative journalism; data analytics; financial analysis; etc.).
