Job Description
The Security BU finance team delivers critical business analysis and partners with business leaders. This role plays a critical role in driving value creation and business execution through financial analysis, new product introductions and P/L management in partnership with the Security BU president and VP of Finance thereby helping to identify opportunities for profit improvement and to drive above market revenue growth. The Sr Manager, Business to Business (B2B) Safety and Security Finance directly supports the GM. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with executive leaders, sales, and cross-functional teams.
Position location: Deerfield, IL - Hybrid (On-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)
Responsibliities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

Job Description

Responsibliities
- Lead as the Finance partner for the GM, Business to Business (B2B) Safety and Security and his/her leadership team.
- Manage the monthly analysis of sales, customer allowances, and period costs to provide accurate, relevant and timely input for decision making.
- Manage the development and analysis of the annual operating plan as well as monthly reforecasts by partnering with the businesses being supported.
- Partner with sales team to provide insights on monthly results by distributing monthly reporting packages that align the teams on business trends.
- Lead the policies and procedures for the financial component of the global sales pricing and programming proposal process; Partner with the Revenue growth management (RGM) team to execute.
- Partner with RGM to calculate impacts of proposed sales pricing and promotions/programming using standard processes, and develop recommendations to optimize sales and profitability.
- Participate in various department projects and improvement initiatives.
- Seek to continuously simplify and improve processes and procedures, while maintaining documentation of all responsibilities.
- Manage a team of Financial Analysts, delegating and prioritizing deliverables while actively participating in their career and personal development.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10 years of finance related experience including similar job responsibilities.
- Experience building, leading, and developing teams.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build partnerships throughout the organization.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience prioritizing tasks and quickly reacting to changing business needs.
- Experience successfully working independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or consumer products industry a plus.
- Previous experience with Oracle EBS and a SmartView financial reporting system preferred.
