Our global, technology solutions, products and services client has asked The Maven Group to help find a talented DSP Engineer to join its team in San Jose, CA.
This role requires 100% on-site work. A full relocation package can be provided if needed. Due to the nature of these roles ONLY US Citizens can be considered.
The chosen Senior DSP Engineer will conceptualize, design and model world class signal processing algorithms for integrated Hardware and Software systems. All development will be in a Agile environment so past experience with Agile and Scrum tools and techniques are helpful.
This project requires an Active TS / SCI clearance. That clearance is preferred but exceptional candidates with a lower clearance OR no clearance but clearable can be looked at. We can discuss your situation to see if there is a fit.
What you need to bring to the party :
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing, Communication Theory, Wireless Communications, or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of C / C software development in Unix / Linux operating systems
- Strong understanding of software development tools such as integrated development environments (IDE) as well as version control systems and defect reporting tools
- Experience implementing signal processing algorithms in GPUs
- Develop testing criteria and execute validation of designs
- Experience working in a fast-paced development environment focused on fielding complex signal processing solutions
- Proficient in signal processing algorithm development in MATLAB or Python
