The Account Executive serves as the primary contact for the agency's Entrepreneurial Business Unit (EBU) clients, focusing on accounts with premiums up to $25,000, with some exceptions. This role is responsible for managing commercial insurance policy renewals, maintaining client accounts, and identifying opportunities to obtain, retain, and enhance client relationships. The approach emphasizes cultivating strong client connections through consultative and value-based service, aligned with McClone’s core purpose to deliver exceptional service and foster long-term partnerships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and carrier partners, ensuring superior service delivery.
- Act as the primary contact for accounts, independently managing policies, renewals, and client communication for accounts up to $25,000 in premium.
- Handle client service requests, including coverage inquiries, technical questions, and billing issues, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the agency management system (Applied Epic) and other technology resources along with carrier websites, products, and coverages.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, for various tasks and reporting requirements.
- Handle new business opportunities by working with prospective clients while effectively managing the existing book of business.
- Utilize excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaborate effectively within the team, contributing positively to the overall work environment.
