The Business Development Executive is a self-starter and team player who is open to feedback, can set priorities and meet defined goals. He / she must demonstrate a sales aptitude with strong persuasive skills to influence desired outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales goals
- Examine prospects to determine insurance and risk management needs
- Build a strong center of influence network
- Demonstrate ability to work within a team selling environment
- Maintain positive relationships with our carrier partners
- Solid understanding of the agency management system, carrier websites, products, and coverages
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field
3 years of sales or service experience
Microsoft Office Applications
Property & Casualty and Life & Health WI insurance license required within the first 90-days of employment and maintain throughout the course of employment.
