The McGuire Group's Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville, NY, is seeking a Subacute Unit Clerk to become a member of our elite McGuire Mission Makers team. A Subacute Unit Clerk assists the department with clerical duties, among other responsibilities including scheduling, follow-up, discharge resident appointments, coordinating resident transportation and filing. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Experience in health care/clerical knowledge & medical terminology is preferred
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Qualities of responsibility, diplomacy, and ability to work well with fellow staff members
- Cheerful and pleasant demeanor
- Respect for residents’ privacy and rights, display of genuine concern and empathy for the elderly
- Self-motivated with flawless time and attendance
