Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wound Care Nurse (RN) to play a key role in the healing and recovery of our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert wound care, educating patients and their families on preventive care, and collaborating with our healthcare team to develop effective treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently while adhering to our high standards of care and safety. You will make a direct impact on our patients' health, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
As our Wound Care Nurse, you will:
Manage wound care for assigned patients, following established nursing standards and best practices.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure the best care for each patient.
Educate patients and families about wound care, prevention, and healthy practices to improve recovery outcomes.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing nursing responsibilities and care assessments.
Ensure a high standard of care, following infection control protocols and safety measures at all times.

Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of Florida
